What we do

Volunteers at our next session will help with:

• Bicycles and wheeled items 

• Computers / mobile phones / game controllers / other electronics (please note that cracked screens on smartphones and tablet cannot be repaired)

• Mechanical problems

• Clothing and fabric repairs (clothing must be clean and we do not do alterations or zip replacements). Please bring spares such as elastic and buttons if you know they will be needed.

• Toys

• Portable electrical items

• Broken objects in wood, metal or ceramics

• Simple jewelry repairs including necklace chain untangling. 

• Sharpening Service 

• Sharpen Kitchen Knives. (if you intend to bring a knife to be sharpened please ensure that -( 1)  you send us an email before the day to say you are bringing a knife Email repcafegod@btinternet.com. (2) Wrap the knife securely in a cloth or cardboard and keep in a bag. (3) Do not take the knife out of the bag except in the cafe and at home.

• Unwanted computer hard-drive cleansing or destruction

We will have a PAT Tester present and we may have an horticulturalist for gardening advice - please contact us to check.
